  • Mr Patrick Baudry was born in France

  • Astronaut, Test Pilot, Air Force Colonel

  • He conceived and implemented "European Space Camp for the Youth" project

  • Cosmonaut at Space Center in Moscow and astronaut at Lyndon Johnson Space Center in Houston (USA). Test pilot and engineer at Airbus Industrie and advisor for space flights at Aérospatiale Espace-Défence

  • Founder (1998) of "On the Path of Aeropostale" Association which implemented a pedagogical project consecrated to the youth originating from European, African and South American countries that used to be served by Aeropostale mailing lines during the 1930. Under UNESCO patronage, he and his team redid the "Mermoz and his companions Trail" with a 1930 model aircraft, Catalina. They left from Montaudran on 14 October 1998 and reached Santiago de Chile two weeks later. This journey was greeted by the people and the youth in the visited countries achieving an enormous success. As a result, numerous schools and universities from the visited countries are participating in this pedagogical project

  • Published several works in the field of youth education

  • Participated in many TV and radio shows for children in France, Russian Federation, other European countries, the United States of America and Asia

  • Conceived and presented a one-and-a half hour TV show in eight-series in co-operation with FR3 targeting the young audience. Co-autored and co-produced a 52 minutes TV show "The Astronaut and the Child", a pedagogical documentary for the youth

  • Asked to conduct an interview with the Director-General on the subject of UFO's, which was refused as this issue lies out of UNESCO's field of competence

  • Wants to co-operate with UNESCO for marketing children of the world more sensitive to the messages of the International Year of Culture and Peace
