  • Mrs Ute-Henriette Ohoven was born in Germany

  • Organisation of the annual grand gala of charity in Düsseldorf since 1991, a social gathering chaired by numerous personalities

  • Cooperated since 1993 with RTL TV in a large fund-raising campaign in Germany called "RTL- UNESCO Children in Need"

  • Created partnership with a German charter airline, L.T.U., for the collection of funds from the travellers

  • Mrs Ohoven's dedication to humanitarian causes back some 15 years. She has been a major benefactor of cancer research and treatment for children in Germany

  • Special Ambassador Ohoven has been awarded the Bundesverdienstkreuz of Germany, the highest civil order of Senegal, and the Picasso Medal of UNESCO in gold

  • She has been voted among the 100 most influential women in Europe. Mrs Ohoven is General Consul of Senegal. She is honorary citizen of Belo Horizonte, Brazil
