UNESCO’s regulations, accepted by all Member States, expressly prohibit the Organization from endorsing specific organizations, products or services. Therefore a link to the UNESCO portal must be used for information purposes only, and not for the promotion of any organization, product or service. A link to the UNESCO portal does not, and should not, imply any association between UNESCO and the owner of the linking site.

Hyperlinks to the UNESCO portal should point to the UNESCO homepage - http://www.unesco.org - or to major thematic sections. Deeper links should be avoided, as UNESCO cannot guarantee their longevity.
