Among Youth – HIV and Communication (UNESCO Quito and Las Otras Voces, 2007)

“Las Otras Voces” and UNESCO Quito collaborated on the development of two new Spanish resources addressing communication, HIV prevention and youth participation.

“Entre Jóvenes. Comunicación y VIH. Imágenes para promover la participación juvenil”

This video is a tool for sharing experiences, stimulating dialogue and raising new questions to promote youth participation in HIV prevention campaigns. The documentary is organized in two parts. The first part addresses common questions and myths about HIV and AIDS answered through stories from people living with HIV. The second part of the DVD focuses more specifically on HIV and young people.

“Entre Jóvenes. Comunicación y VIH. Herramientas periodísticas para crear campañas comunitarias de prevención de VIH/sida”

This manual seeks to develop strategies to address the communication and health rights and concerns of young people. Concepts and suggested activities for organizing workshops with young people are described.
