The Africa Department, one of UNESCO´s Central Services directly attached to the Director General, is comprised of :

  • Division for the Cooperation with Member States and organizations(DIR/CEO)with the following sections:
    * Section for the Cooperation with Member
    States
    * Section for the regional Organization and
    Post-conflict (AFR/ORP)

  • Section for Coordination and Promotion of intersectoral activities (AFR/CPI)

  • An Administrative and Financial focal point

  • A documentation center.
