    Soprano Mariana Nicolesco nominated UNESCO Artist for Peace
    Nomination.jpgRomanian soprano Mariana Nicolesco received the title of UNESCO Artist for Peace from Director-General Koïchiro Matsuura. The nomination ceremony took place on 21 Novembeber at UNESCO Headquarters after a meeting between the Romanian President Traian Basescu and UNESCO Director-General Koïchiro Matsuura. More
