  • Participation of Kitín Muñoz in UNESCO Activities
  • Mr Kitin Munoz was appointed Goodwill Ambassador on 22 April 1997

  • He organized an expedition under the auspices of UNESCO with a boat constructed according to a model the aborigines of Lake Titicaca in South America would have used. He sought to prove that cultural exchange could have taken place between the Pacific Islands and South America. He left Easter Islands on 4 May 1997, but his expedition shipwrecked a few weeks after due to violent storm

  • He has since completed a 2-year long expedition to the Philippines and is currently in the process of embarking on another adventurous voyage

  • Mr Kitin Munoz attended the Annual meeting of Goodwill Ambassadors on July 2000, on February 2002 and on February 2003 at UNESCO Headquarters

  • He presented the film about his expeditions and the protection of environment in the presence of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Maroc and Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem, which took place on 4 April 2003 in the theatre of Mohammed V, in Rabat
