    Participation of UNESCO Artists for Peace at the 31st International Theatre Institute World Congress

    German orchestra Brenz Band named UNESCO Artist for Peace
    brenz-band-tumb2.jpgThe Brenz Band, a German group of handicapped musicians, was designated UNESCO Artist for Peace for 2005-2006 by Director-General Koïchiro Matsuura on February 3, at a ceremony held at UNESCO Headquarters. Brenz Band was honored “in recognition of its fervent involvement in the promotion of peace through its musical activities and its commitment to the ideals and goals of the Organization.” More
