UNESCO Chair in Human Rights, Violence, Public Policies and Governance (695), established in 2005 at the Universidad Externado de Colombia (Colombia).

Fields/Disciplines

Human rights, violence, public policies.

Objectives

  • To promote an integrated system of research, training, information and documentation in the fields of a human rights, violence, as well as public policies and governance, contributing thus to a culture of human rights and of a culture of peace.
  • To facilitate collaboration between high-level, internationally recognized researchers and teaching staff of the University and other institutions in Colombia and elsewhere in Latin America and the Caribbean, and in other regions of the world.
