Public freedoms and civic values.

Objectives

The specific objectives of this Chair are to:

  • become a pole of research and teaching, discussion forum and way of transmitting knowledge and ideas, based on public freedoms and civic values;
  • foster the training of graduate and postgraduate students, of teachers from primary to higher education and researchers on secularity, public freedoms and civic values;
  • develop research from the perspective of civic values, in order to contribute to a Culture of Peace, and provide support and recommendations to the public and private sectors as well as to national and international institutions;
  • establish a global network of higher education institutions in the field of public freedoms and civic values.
