UNESCO’s Social and Human Sciences programme in Viet Nam aims to foster and promote social science research and evidence-based policy making and to strengthen support to new networks to promote social science education. In addition, the programme focuses on promoting the awareness of the importance of balancing preservation and development in historic urban centers and developing initiatives to facilitate, support and enhance capacity for youth participation in civil and political life.
