Documentation CentreThe Documentation and Information Centre (Sudan DIC) of the National Commission possesses some 4000 titles in English (UNESCO, ALECSO and ISESCO publications).
The Centre, which is computerized and administered by a professional librarian, mainly welcomes students, academics and the general public at large.
Structure of the CommissionThe National Commission is composed of the following bodies:
- The Administrative Board, which meets twice yearly ;
- The Executive Office, which meets six times a year;
- 5 Technical Committees for: Education; Science; Culture; Social Sciences; and Communication. The Committees meet every month;
- The Secretariat.
Members/CompositionThe membership of the National Commission includes representatives of Ministries, national organizations involved in UNESCO Clubs and NGOs.

Interaction with UNESCO and National Commissions
OverviewThe National Commission particularly collaborates with the Egyptian, Kenyan, Uganda, Qatar, Syrian and also with other African and Arab National Commissions through the exchange of publications and the organization of workshops. It also co-operates with the UNESCO Cluster Offices of Beirut, Dakar, Cairo and Doha.
