    The United Arab Emirates, founders of the Sharjah Prize for Arab Culture and of the International Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan Prize for heritage and traditions, turned their attention to cultural traditions in 1998.

    The Kitab Fi Jarida promotes Arabic literature in the region.

    The country furthermore financed the translation into Arabic of the work entitled Copyright and Neighbouring Rights.
