  • Buddy reading: an older and younger child sharing a story

    New Zealand joined UNESCO on 4 November 1946. The country is covered by the UNESCO Office of Apia, Samoa.

    There are two UNEVOC Centres and the Associated Schools Project network (ASPnet) counts some 69 schools in New Zealand. In 2003, New Zealand successfully hosted the ASPnet 50th Anniversary International Congress “Navigators for Peace”.
