    The Solomon Islands joined UNESCO on September, 7th 1992.

    The country is covered by the UNESCO Office in Apia, Samoa.

    The Solomon Islands has one UNEVOC centre. As of September 2006, the Solomon Islands has 7 schools participating in UNESCO’s Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet).
