Tunisia masters the Convention’s safeguarding mechanisms

09 November 2015 – From 2 to 6 November 2015, twenty participants from various entities including government representatives from decentralized institutions, as well as civil society, communities and other specialists of intangible cultural heritage gathered in Nabeul in Tunisia. Documents of the 10.COM online!

05 November 2015 – Documents of the tenth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage are available online since, Monday 2 November, in the two working languages (English and French) of the Committee, including the provisional timetable approved by the Bureau of the Committee.

The tenth session of the Committee will take place in Windhoek, Namibia, from 30 November to 4 December 2015. Participants are strongly encouraged to confirm their participation by registering online as soon as possible…

Intangible heritage and higher education

01 November 2015 – Efforts to safeguard intangible cultural heritage are gaining momentum throughout Asia-Pacific, resulting in a need for more highly trained professionals in this area.
