Mr A. Abramian was born in Armenia, former Soviet Republic. He finished economy department of the Yerevan agricultural institute. Mr Abramian is married and has three children
Mr Abramian started his career as a 1st class engineer at the enterprise “Neyron” of the Ministry of Electronic Industry of the USSR and later on due to his professional skills became its Director-General
In 1989 Mr Abramian was appointed the deputy Director of the Department at the Ministry of Electronics. In 1994 under his leadership was established the Joint-Stock Company “Concord”- company, the President of which he remains till the present time
“Concord" in a short time has become a multistructural holding which is involved in diamond business, capital construction, air transport navigation control system, production of household chemicals, compact discs, publishing activity, etc
The irreproachable business reputation, high professionalism and interpersonal skills allow Mr Abramian to obtain partners among very prominent and authoritative Russian and foreign financial and industrial groups
Among Mr Abramian’s foreign partners should be mentioned such well-known companies as:

“Concord” Inc was actively involved in the development of the Lomonosov deposit in Arkhangelsk region, the biggest diamond deposit in Europe which in the nearest future is to become one of the most productive diamond mining and cutting centres in the world
Headed by Mr Ara Abramian company “Concord” took an active part in investment and realization of a number of projects of the Administrative Office of the President of Russian Federation connected with the reconstruction and construction of cultural and social objects as well as the living sector
In 1991 Mr Abramian was decorated with the medal “The Honoured Worker” of the State Ministry of Electronics, in 1996 – Honour Certificate of the President of Russian Federation, in 1998 he became the cavalier of the “St Constantine the Great” Order, in 1999 he was awarded with the medal “Honoured Builder of Russia”, and also with UNESCO Honour Certificate for participation in the reconstruction of the Moscow Kremlin. In 2003 he was favoured the UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for his significant contribution to the cause of promotion Dialogue among Civilisations
