Culture

    As a State Party to the World Heritage Convention, Barbados has proposed two cultural sites and one natural site on its Tentative List in the hopes that they will eventually be inscribed on the World Heritage List.

    In the framework of the Slave Route Project, Barbados has participated in the Slave Trade Archives Project.

    The Youth Path Project was developed around the De Heart Uh site to build awareness among young people on the importance of developing tourism that treats their cultural heritage in a respectful manner.
