Arab States

The Regional Conference on Arts Education (Amman, 2002) reinforced the belief that Arts Education needs to evolve and be promoted at school level in all Arab countries, while acknowledging adequate access as a fundamental right.

The regional experts assessed the following three challenges facing the Arab education systems: surpassing of traditional teaching methods, use of new technologies and development of creative skills and capacities.
