Fiji

As a State Party to the World Heritage Convention, Fiji receives support from the World Heritage Committee for the implementation of the Convention in the framework of the Pacific 2009 Programme.

In the field of intangible heritage, Fiji is encouraged by the UNESCO Office in Apia to launch initiatives to safeguard its endangered languages.
