Marshall Islands

As a State Party to the World Heritage Convention, the Marshall Islands participates in the activities of the Pacific 2009 Programme and has drawn up a tentative list containing one cultural site, one natural site and two mixed sites.

The population is engaged in sea-related activities launched with UNESCO support in order to promote links between culture and development.
