The Republic of Moldova has a station of the Struve Geodetic Arc on its territory - being a transborder world heritage site - and is concerned to identify other potential sites.
As part of a very extensive programme of digitization of the cultural heritage of the countries of south-eastern Europe, the Republic of Moldova is collaborating with the other states as well as with the UNESCO Office in Venice.
