Montenegro

Montenegro became the 192nd Member State of UNESCO on 1 March 2007.

Two sites in Montenegro are inscribed on the World Heritage List, the medieval city of Kotor and the National Park of Durmitor.

In 2005, the UNESCO Chair in Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights was created at the University of Montenegro, Niksic.
