Culture

    La coopération culturelle entre Samoa et l’UNESCO s’inscrit dans le cadre du Programme d’action pour le développement durable des petits États insulaires en voie de développement.

    Samoa a adhéré en 2001 à la Convention concernant la protection du patrimoine mondial, culturel et naturel. L'Organisation lui apporte son soutien pour la mettre en œuvre à travers le programme Pacifique 2009.

    Dans le domaine de la diversité culturelle, le pays entreprend de protéger les cultures de certaines minorités de pêcheurs, avec le soutien de l’UNESCO.
