Just Published by UNEP: Climate in Peril: a Popular Guide to the Latest IPCC Reports

  UNEP/GRID-Arendal recently published this guide.

Climate in Peril: A Popular Guide to the Latest IPCC Reports presents the substance of the Climate Change 2007 Synthesis Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in simplified language and structure. The guide, intended for lay readers, is a joint joint publication of GRID-Arendal and SMI Books, with the generous support of the Norwegian Pollution Control Authority and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.

You may download the book, or order it from the website below. Currently the book is only available in English. If your Member State would like to help with translating it into other languages, please contact the UNESCO climate change platform manager. UNESCO would like to help widely disseminate this easily comprehensible and much-needed work.
