Mozambique hosts a National UNESCO Office in Maputo.

Mozambique is currently involved in a Sustainable Development of Coasts and Small Islands (CSI) project that aims to improve the welfare of regional communities while maintaining and restoring the ecological qualities of the area, as well as several Earth Sciences projects.
