The country is covered by the UNESCO Cluster Office in Windhoek, Namibia.

Lesotho’s government is implementing initiatives to improve the country’s education situation. These programmes aim to ensure that primary and secondary school attendance remains high, while also providing a higher number of institutions and qualified personnel to aid in the formation of scientists and researchers. 


It is also an active member of the International Network of Government Officers in Science and Technology Education (INGOSTE).
