The country is covered by the UNESCO Cluster Office in Nairobi, Kenya.

Uganda is fully involved in the implementation of the Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme (IHP) in East Africa. It is also taking part in the Great Apes Survival Project (GRASP), the 1^st concerted approach ever developed to face a major extinction crisis.
