The country hosts a UNESCO National Office in Kathmandu.

 

Nepal is participating in an interdisciplinary programme which aims to improve the lives of adolescent girls living in poverty and enable them to break the cycle. These girls are potential actors for social change and a decisive population group for national poverty eradication strategies.
