Call for Papers

Up to 50 authors will be invited to address the forum. Those interested in applying are encouraged to respond to the Call for Abstracts (see below)

The forum is being co-organized by six partners, namely the Council on Health Research for Development, the Global Forum for Health Research, the Government of Mali, UNESCO, the World Bank and the World Health Organization. UNESCO and the World Bank were two of four partners to sign a Memorandum of Understanding for the forum at the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland on 22 May 2007.

The 2008 Global Ministerial Forum on Research for Health is calling for abstracts. They must have a ‘research and innovation focus’. Please note that the deadline for submitting an abstract is 31 March 2008.

Results will be communicated by 30 May and successful speakers will be expected to provide their full paper by 31 August 2008.
