IberoMAB

    This Ibero-American MAB Network aims at strengthening the MAB Programme in Latin American and Caribbean countries, Spain and Portugal, notably by consolidating their MAB National Committees and co-operative links, and promoting the creation of new biosphere reserves.

    The 14th IberoMAB Meeting will be held jointly with the Iberoamerican Conference on “Biosphere Reserves: All Hands, All Voices” in Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo State, Mexico, from 9 to 14 November 2010, by the Institute of Ecology A.C., MAB-Mexico and UNESCO/MAB with support from CONANP (National Commission for Protected Areas in Mexico) and the Government of Spain.
