Michel Batisse Award for Biosphere Reserve Management


The MAB Bureau Members have approved the recommendation made by the Advisory Committee to award the 2007 Michel Batisse Award for Biosphere Reserve Management to Mr Francisco Javier Jiménez Gonzáles from Mexico for his case study on "A conservation strategy for wetlands in the biosphere reserve la encrucijada, chiapas, mexico. Integrated management of hydrographic basins and participative ecological land use planning: a case study for the coapa river watershed."
