Fields / Disciplines Communication and Journalism Objectives The purpose of the Chair shall be to promote an integrated system of research, training, information and documentation in the field of communication technology and journalism for women. It will serve as a means of facilitating collaboration between high-level, internationally recognized researchers and teaching staff of the College and other institutions in the United Arab Emirates and Arab States region. Summary Report on Patterns of Success and Failure in Selected Sharjah Schools, by UNESCO Chair Program at Sharjah Women’s College (U.A.E.)
This research project was undertaken under the UNESCO Chair Program of the Center for Applied Studies in Education (CASE) at Sharjah Women’s Higher College of Technology during the period January to July, 2005. It was conducted by Prof. Elia Zureik1, the first holder of the UNESCO Chair.
