Asia and the Pacific

On 26-28 May 2009, Malaysia organized an International Conference on marine ecosystem for the commeration of the 50th Anniversary of IOC.

Malaysia will be organizing two international conferences in 2010 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of IOC: the 1st International Conference on Managing Ecosystem Health of Tropical seas: “Environmental Management in Coastal Ecosystem (ECOSEAS 2010)” on 19-21 October 2010, in Best Western Premier Seri Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur; and the 3rd International Conference on Underwater System Technology 2010: Theory and Application” on 1-2 November 2010, in Putrajaya.
