IOC commemorative stamps presented to National Oceanographic Library, Southampton, United Kingdom

First day cover stamps commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) have been presented to the National Oceanographic Library (NOL) based at the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) in Southampton.

Jane Stephenson, NOL’s Head of Information Services, said: “I am delighted to accept these stamps on behalf of the library. They will be a valuable addition to our collections, and we hope whenever possible to put them on display for visitors.” More
