The country is covered by the UNESCO Cluster Office in Beijing, China.

UNESCO is cooperating with the Korea international Agency (KOICA) and the World Technopolis association to build capacity and provide technical assistance on Science and Technology Park development.


The Jeju Island Biosphere Reserve, located at the centre of the island, has been established to conserve a rich biodiversity and local culture, which attract many tourists.
