European Coalition of Cities Against Racism (ECCAR)
The European Coalition of Cities against Racism was launched on the occasion of the 4th European Conference of Cities for Human Rights, which was held in Nuremberg (Germany), in December 2004. 97 municipalities from 20 countries of Europe have joined this initiative since its launching.

      European Network Against Racism (ENAR)
ENAR is a network of European NGOs working to combat racism in all EU member states. Its establishment was a major outcome of the 1997 European Year Against Racism. ENAR aims to fight racism, xenophobia, anti-Semitism and Islamophobia, to promote equality of treatment between EU citizens and third country nationals, and to link local/regional/national initiatives with European initiatives.       International Association of Educating Cities
Educating cities started as a movement in 1990 based on the 1st International Congress of Educating Cities, held in Barcelona, when a group of cities represented by their local governments set for themselves the common goal of working together on projects and activities for improving the quality of life of their inhabitants on the basis of their active involvement in the use and evolution of the city itself and according to the aproved Educating Cities Charter. Some years later, in 1994, the movement was formalised as the International Association of Educating Cities at its 3rd Congress in Bologna.  More...
