Human Rights Training for SHS Headquarters Programme Staff
A Learning Module for the Staff of the Social and Human Sciences Sector (SHS) of UNESCO
(UNESCO House, 6- 8 April 2005)
Objectives

The overall purpose of the proposed 3-day orientation in a human rights-based approach to programming for UNESCO SHS programme staff in Headquarters, is to further increase their awareness and knowledge of human rights and human rights-based approach to programming and to ensure that UNESCO's activities and projects are in line with the UN Reform Programme.


Expected Outcomes

Mainstreaming human rights and a human rights-based approach to UNESCO programmes, projects and activities.
