China, 25 August - 1 September 2007

UNESCO will actively contribute to this annual international tournament which will take place in Beijing, China from 25 August to 1September 2007.

The event, which involves 13 to 14 year-old athletes from over 60 countries, will feature a number of educational and cultural activities organized by UNESCO.

At the UNESCO Village, a team of specialists will offer a series of activities designed to develop sporting values and ethics (anti-doping) as well as mutual respect and concern for the environment.
