Foundation for UNESCO

The vast majority of the Programme’s funds have been collected thanks to the inexhaustible and impressive efforts of UNESCO Special Ambassador, Mrs Ute-Henriette Ohoven. She, alongside her Foundation for UNESCO created in 2003, has personally been instrumental in raising millions. Her high profile, her media-friendly attitude and energetic devotion have contributed to involving television companies and the press on a regular basis. Every year a benefit gala is held in Germany organised by Mrs Ute-Henriette Ohoven. Past guests have included: His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Queen Noor of Jordan, Phil Collins, Shakira and many more.
