10-11-2009 (UNESCOPRESS) - The UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Prize for the Promotion of Tolerance and Non-Violence was presented to this year’s two laureates - François Houtart, Belgian sociologist and theologian, and Abdul Sattar Edhi, Pakistani philanthropist – at a ceremony on Monday 16 November at UNESCO’s Paris Headquarters on International Day for Tolerance.
