Evaluation of MOST National Liaison Committees
carried out from May to October 2005.
Main points of the evaluation:

a) The central question was how to adjust the structure of the NLCs in order to implement the new vision of MOST based on the science policy interlink.

b) The evaluation, with the support of the National UNESCO Commissions and of the UNESCO field, cluster and regional Offices, explored a large variety of institutions in various countries and regions that could inspire the future structure of MOST NLCs. Proposals for the reorganization of MOST implementation structures at the national, regional and international levels are summarized in the Draft Evaluation Report.

c) Aiming to develop institutional procedures and conditions of "communicative competence" as a WIN-WIN game strategy, the MOST Secretariat is launching an Interactive Electronic Forum of MOST NLCs. The objective is to engage in an active debate aimed at redefining MOST NLC's affiliation, structure and operations as well as inducing a continuous relationship between MOST NLCs and it's Secretariat by facilitating the identification of mutual incentives.
