This site has been designed to act as a forum to document and disseminate information pertaining to Human Rights, Gender Issues and Democracy relevant to the 14 member countries of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

This site is a collaborative project between the Human Rights & Documentation Center (University of Namibia), the UNESCO Social and Human Sciences Programme in Southern Africa, and Human Rights Internet (Canada).
