Knowledge for Decision-Making and Strategy
MOST knowledge meta-networking for evidence-based decision-making consists of a set of services and resources aimed at enhanced dissemination and usability of social sciences research results for policy-making. This "knowledge for Policy" platform will gradually integrate other select resources from UNESCO as well as United Nations and partners related resources.

most2.JPG The Policy Research Tool provides online speedy access to policy-relevant comparative information and enables users to obtain customized replies to trans-disciplinary questions by drawing on select content from original documents. Owing to innovative interactive functions, scientifically comparable categories are used to assess the relevance of policy options available from different case studies.

The Policy Papers are designed according to a specific policy analysis methodology. A generic structure produces different types of documents from the same original content, and differentiates format and access in various modes so as to respond more efficiently to different types of information needs.

The Digital Library hosts the Programme publications in a user-friendly environment. A multilingual search engine facilitates document search by keywords, subject categories, geographical locations and nature of the document. Practical guides dealing with “How To” recommendations on solving a specific problem can be retrieved in lists based on these criteria. Abstracts of all the documents are available in English, French and Spanish.

The Conference Reporting System is an innovative methodology that allows immediate, rigorous restitution of discussions and debates at any event and the extraction of relevant information.
