UNESCO and World Social Forum 2007
UNESCO’s Education Sector co-organized the following workshops with partners NGO’s and the UNESCO Institute for Education:

  1. Innovation in literacy: Approaches and practices. Responsible organization: ICAE (International Council for Adult Education).
  2. Time for Action on Girls’ Education: Empowering to reduce vulnerabilities to HIV. Responsible organization: EI (Education International).
  3. Strategies for Strengthening Civil Society Capacity to Engage Governments on Education Policy. Responsible organization: ASPBAE (Asian South Pacific Bureau of Adult Education).
UNESCO will also have a UNESCO stand at the Exhibition space of the Forum, featuring UNESCO and CCNGO/EFA partners publications and documents.
