Human Rights-Based Approach to UN Common Country Programming Processes

A Learning Module for the Staff of UNESCO Field Offices (Paris, 5-6 May 2005)

Objectives The overall purpose of the proposed 2-day orientation in a human rights-based approach to programming for UNESCO Field Office staff is: to further increase their awareness and knowledge of human rights-based approach to programming to ensure that UNESCO’s concerns are adequately reflected in MDG-driven, CCA and UNDAF processes being undertaken at the country-level, and, to assist UNESCO Field Offices’ staff playing a more active role in the MDG-driven CCA and UNDAF processes Expected Outcomes Mainstreaming human rights and human rights approach to UNESCO Field Offices’ programmes, projects and activities UNESCO’s concern adequately reflected in the CCA and UNDAF Programme (PDF File, 37.9 Ko) General documents Background materials per session Back to "Integrating a Human Rights-Based Approach into UNESCO Activities (Human Rights Mainstreaming)"
