International José Martí Prize - Fifth Edition
Call for Candidatures - The International José Martí Prize is to be awarded for the fifth time in May 2009. Candidatures are to be submitted upon receipt of an invitation letter issued by UNESCO, between 24 March 2009 and 10 April 2009 (deadline).
Composition of the Jury of the International José Martí Prize, 2003-2009

In accordance with its Rules, the Prize consists of a sum of US $5,000 financed by the Government of Cuba.

Member States and Associate Members of UNESCO, and international governmental and non-governmental organizations and foundations which maintain official relations with UNESCO and have activities in the fields of the Prize are invited to nominate a person or an organization for the Prize.
