Accession by Ethiopia to the Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict at its First Protocol (The Hague, 14 May 1954)

On 31 August 2015, Ethiopia deposited with the Director-General its instruments of accession to the Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and its First Protocol.

In accordance with the terms of Article 33(2) of the Convention and Article 10(b) of its Protocol, the Convention and its first Protocol entered into force with respect to this State three months after the deposit of these instruments, that is to say on 30 November 2015.
