Fields / Disciplines Bioethics. Objectives To make known the legal instruments and the international treaties in force. To study thoroughly human rights and their possible contradictions. To preserve the interest of the future generations for scientific research. To provide sufficient knowledge in the field of basic sciences, particularly in molecular and genetic biology, to allow a large public awareness on the problems of genetic engineering and gene therapy. To analyze the consequences of genetic engineering and medically assisted reproduction on people and on the structure of the society.
