Fields / Disciplines

Bioethics.

Objectives
  • To make known the legal instruments and the international treaties in force.

  • To study thoroughly human rights and their possible contradictions.

  • To preserve the interest of the future generations for scientific research.

  • To provide sufficient knowledge in the field of basic sciences, particularly in molecular and genetic biology, to allow a large public awareness on the problems of genetic engineering and gene therapy.

  • To analyze the consequences of genetic engineering and medically assisted reproduction on people and on the structure of the society.
