UNESCO Chair in Bioethics (760), established in 2007 at the University of Barcelona (Spain)

 

Fields/Disciplines Bioethics. Objectives To promote an integrated system of activities covering research, training and spreading ideas in the field of Bioethics. To facilitate collaboration between highly qualified researchers and distinguished professors from universities and higher education institutions in Spain, Europe, America and Latin America and the Caribbean in addition to other areas in the world The Chair will also contribute to transfer the experience acquired in the Bioethics and Law Observatory, in the University of Barcelona , to developing countries in the field of research, teaching and spreading ideas, and also sharing its methodology and training activities.
